The following amenities will be included in the new Northwest Recreation Center:

• High school size gymnasium
• Aerobics room
• Fitness room
• Six-lane lap pool
• Leisure pool with play features
• Wet class room
• Multipurpose room
• Locker/changing rooms
• Offices and storage

The following renovations are proposed for the existing Northwest Recreation Center:

• Demolition of indoor swimming pool and structure
• Demolition of old teen lounge area
• Replace and upgrade plumbing system
• Upgrade electrical system
• Replace and upgrade HVAC system
• Upgrade finishing and fixtures
• Upgrade and enlarge the kitchen

The renovation to the existing facility and construction of the new facility is expected to bring in an estimated 7,735 additional participants in recreation programs annually and an estimated total of 30,530 additional visits annually to the Northwest Recreation Center.
